Coil Rails

Stainless Steel Billet Guide Rails Coated with Alpha 1’s Patent Pending Process

coated rail

Alpha 1’s patent pending coating process increases wear resistance on the rails. When rails wear, they leak the water cooling into the coil. This soaks the coil lining causing it to break down and allowing shorting between the coil turns. Shorted turns cause damage to the coil through arcing and can blow a hole in the copper tubing causing additional water leaks and more damage. Coil arcing can also lead to premature failure of power supply components. All of these factors create system downtime and lost production.

Use Alpha 1’s patent pending coating process billet wear rails. Routinely inspect the rails and when the coating wears down, replace them with a new set of rails. You will save yourself costly downtime and costly coil repairs.
